Otonabee Lodge 101

History

Otonabee Lodge was formally established on October 19, 2022, by the approval of M. W. Bro. Thomas W. Hogeboom, the Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of Canada in the Province of Ontario, of the amalgamation of Corinthian Lodge 101 (1848), Royal Arthur Lodge 523 (1914) and W.J. Dunlop Lodge 675 (1953). A Ceremony of Installation and Investiture followed the Ceremony of Amalgamation.

On that night W. Bro William Prentice (Corinthian Lodge) was Installed as Worshipful Master, W. Bro. Todd Freeman (Royal Arthur Lodge) was Invested as Immediate Past Master, and W. Bro. Scott McMichael (William James Dunlop Lodge) as Director of Ceremonies. All three had been Worshipful Masters of Corinthian Lodge No. 101, Royal Arthur Lodge No. 523 and William James Dunlop Lodge No. 675 respectively. They served in these offices until the next Installation and Investiture of the Officers, which occurred on May 17, 2023.At amalgamation Otonabee Lodge had approximately 180 Brethren.
